0. Un-install all previous Pointwise license servers
1. Install Pointwise
2. If SolidSQUAD Universal License Server has never been installed
on the computer, unzip as administrator (root) folder "SolidSQUAD_License_Servers"
from archive SolidSQUAD_UniversalLicenseServer_Core_.zip to:
X:\ for Windows (the path will be X:\SolidSQUAD_License_Servers)
/opt/ for GNU/Linux (the path will be /opt/SolidSQUAD_License_Servers)
/Applications/ for MacOSX (the path will be /Applications/SolidSQUAD_License_Servers)
If SolidSQUAD Universal License Server is already installed, skip this step.
3. Unzip folder "Vendors" from archive
SSQ_UniversalLicenseServer_Module_PointwiseLLC_.zip
to "SolidSQUAD_License_Servers" with overwrite:
X:\SolidSQUAD_License_Servers for Windows
/opt/SolidSQUAD_License_Servers for GNU/Linux
/Applications/SolidSQUAD_License_Servers for MacOSX
4. As administrator (root) run the install_or_update script of Universal License Server:
X:\SolidSQUAD_License_Servers\install_or_update.bat for Windows
sh /opt/SolidSQUAD_License_Servers/install_or_update.sh for GNU/Linux
sh /Applications/SolidSQUAD_License_Servers/install_or_update.sh for MacOSX
This will install and start license servers for all the daemons available
5. Start Pointwise and select "localhost" as License Server and port "26800"
6. Enjoy!
